Ashley K. Lopez
Ashley K. Lopez focuses her practice on advising clients regarding due diligence, complex mineral titles, pooling issues, lease analysis, joint operating agreements, surface use issues and title curative. She is licensed to practice law in Texas.
Prior to joining the firm, Ashley clerked for two boutique firms in Houston, where she developed foundational knowledge and skills in both complex transactional and litigation matters, including landowner representation in condemnation proceedings, drafting corporate organizational documents and civil litigation. She also worked as a judicial intern for the Honorable Vanessa D. Gilmore and the Honorable Nancy K. Johnson in the Southern District of Texas. During law school, Ashley served as the Candidates Editor for the Houston Journal of International Law and received the “Best Comment” award for the 2018 academic year.
Ashley is fluent in English and Spanish.
Outside of work, Ashley enjoys reading with her book club, spending time with family and exploring Houston restaurants.
